What if a piece of writing had a place, rather than a card in a menu?

This experiment starts with the actual particles in the MHOO lettering. As the reader scrolls, those points move into a surrounding volume. They remain small and unstructured. A story creates a local change in density, rather than becoming a floating sculpture or a permanent label.

Writing makes the connections

The content source is Markdown. Each document has a stable identity and a short set of descriptive fields. A wikilink connects one document to another; the build records that connection in both directions, while preserving which document originally made it.

For example, this experiment belongs to the purpose described in About Mhoo. The implementation choices are recorded in Development Note 001. Those are real links, not decorative lines.

Depth with a readable destination

The field uses a WebGL point cloud; Three.js provides the underlying point-rendering primitive.^[1] Selecting a connection draws a trail through the field and moves the camera along it. The destination resolves into ordinary HTML so the reader can select text, follow links, and read at their own pace.

This is the first vertical slice. It does not yet include a browser-based writing editor, search, automatic layout of a large archive, or an approval workflow. Those should grow from actual use rather than from a speculative system design.
